MILLEN, Ga. — A Georgia police officer is out of a job after TikTok videos emerged showing him having sex on the job. WRDW reported in Augusta.
Larry « Ben » Thompson resigned from the Millen Police Department a day after posting a viral TikTok. Police Chief Dwayne Herrington told WRDW he had planned to meet with Thompson over a video but would not confirm which video he was referring to.

The alleged video in question was posted to a TikTok account on March 20, but has since been removed. WRDW reports that the video shows a police car and an officer having sex in uniform. The user posted the video with the caption « Police caught on camera #towerclimbers #police #dirtydeeds #ga ».
Comments on the post say it has been removed from White Oak Road in Millen. WRDW reports that satellite photos of the area match the scene of the video,

WRDW examined Thompson’s file at the Millen Police Department.
In 2017, Thompson claimed he was cleaning his gun when it jammed and shot another officer in the arm. The investigation report obtained by WRDW states that the weapon showed no malfunctions.
In 2019, reports show that Thompson collided with another car traveling 86 miles per hour on his way to a call. A 76-year-old driver died from his injuries.
WRDW reports that his troubles continued in 2021. Thompson admitted to running the tags of a woman who accused him of harassment to find out her new address. The department put him on a two-day unpaid suspension.
The investigation did not appear in the records of the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council because no severe punishment was recorded, according to WRDW. The records only show his promotion and his resignation, handed in on March 21.
