Walk-In Naked Challenge on TikTok makes people make huge mistakes

As the boredom of coronavirus quarantine sets in across the country, many people have settled into a solid routine of work, eat, Netflix, video games, sleep and repeat. Or at least a combination of these things. Others, however, are finding ever more creative ways to entertain themselves.

When couples are stuck at home together, this common recipe is more or less responsible for a new « walk-in-naked » challenge currently making the rounds on TikTok.

Basically the challenge is ladies stepping out of the shower (or other stages of undressing) and surprising their significant other naked while they focus on playing video games or whatever.

According to Know Your Meme, the first publicized instance of the walk-in nude challenge occurred on March 26, when TikTok user @lindseybear1 shot a (mostly safe) video of herself stepping into her gambling boyfriend call of Duty. « Whoa, » exclaims the visibly stunned friend aptly in the (fortunately) short clip.

When the upload went viral (it’s since been viewed over 3.5 million times), it inspired others to try the walk-in-naked challenge with varying degrees of success. Although the majority of guys had few complaints with naked surprise, others seemed decidedly underpowered – to their partners’ apparent chagrin.

And of course a few guys have tried it on their ladies, with predictably even less success.

A guy went mega-viral after trying it on his girlfriend… only to find her equally horrified mother?

With social distancing and self-quarantine already stretching into June and beyond in some states, perhaps this is a taste of what we can expect in the weeks and months to come. Perhaps there is some truth to the expected coronavirus baby boom after all.
